Sope Feeds Poultry Project: Empowering Farmers through Quality Nutrition and Sustainable Poultry Farming
The Sope Feeds Poultry Project is an agricultural initiative aimed at providing high-quality poultry feed solutions to farmers. It focuses on producing nutritious, affordable, and locally-sourced feeds to enhance poultry productivity and profitability.

01
Broilers
Broilers are chickens raised specifically for meat production. They are bred to grow quickly and reach market weight within 6 to 8 weeks. Broilers require a high-protein diet and optimal management practices to ensure rapid growth and good health.
02
Layers
Layers are hens raised primarily for egg production. They start laying eggs around 18-20 weeks of age and can produce eggs consistently for about a year or more. Layers need a balanced diet rich in calcium and nutrients to support continuous egg laying.

03
Kuroilers
Kuroilers are a hybrid breed developed for dual purposes—meat and eggs—in resource-limited settings. They are hardy, disease-resistant, and can be raised in free-range systems. Kuroilers are suitable for smallholder farmers and can provide both eggs and meat, making them a versatile poultry option.
