“Grow with Love” for Sope Feeds products:
SOPE FEEDS is a local organization based in Gulu City, Northern Uganda. It was founded in 2018 after Mr. Okello Solomon, one of its founders, attended the COP28 climate conference in Cairo, Egypt. Inspired by global discussions on sustainability and food systems, Mr. Solomon—an agriculturalist and veterinary professional—returned home determined to improve animal farming practices in the region.
Initially focusing on animal nutrition, SOPE FEEDS aimed to enhance the productivity of poultry, dairy, piggery, and other livestock enterprises. The organization sought to address the nutritional gaps faced by farmers, provide affordable and quality feeds, and improve animal health and farmer incomes.
With the involvement of co-founder Mr. Achire Peter Wilberforce, a passionate climate advocate, SOPE FEEDS expanded its mission to integrate environmental conservation and climate-smart agricultural practices. Today, the organization stands at the intersection of animal nutrition, agro-ecology, and climate action.

A professional agriculturalist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Husbandry, specializing in livestock production, animal nutrition, and sustainable farming systems. He has extensive experience working in the government production department as well as with local organizations in Northern Uganda, where he has contributed to agricultural development, food security, and community empowerment programs.

Achire Peter Wilberforce
Co FounderA highly skilled agronomist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Crop Production and a Master’s Degree in Climate Change. He possesses a strong academic and professional foundation in sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and environmental management. In addition to his agronomic expertise, he is also a trained Water Engineer, bringing a unique interdisciplinary approach to agricultural development and natural resource management.
